1930's Liquid Silk Satin Lace Appliqué Bow Gown
The most incredible handmade heavy pink liquid silk satin gown full of handcrafted detail, one of the best we have ever come across. She features diamond smocking at the waist and the most decorative bust and collar. There are lace inserts, appliqués with a bow and ribbon motif, and tiny floral embroidery. All seams are finished with a tiny scalloped trim, and the hemline features a hand-rolled invisible hem. A lace panel follows the rounded neckline, with a trompe l'oeil ribbon wrapping around the length of the lace panel. A cage back shows off some skin, and a short train provides volume and movement in the skirt. This would be an incredible bridal moment if you're not held up on wearing white. There was one small tear in the back that has a hand-sewn lace appliqué patch over it. Otherwise it is in excellent condition. Could fit an XS-M/L.
