1930's Cream Silk Chiffon & Lace Gown

The cutest cream colored silk chiffon gown with empire waist and puff sleeves. When this piece came to us the shoulder seams were in tatters, so we reinforced it with new seams and lace appliqué. The collar features lace inserts in an organic pattern, following the motif in the lace. The lace we used is 1930's Alençon corded lace, true to era and design. You would never know it was altered by us if we didn't disclose. The dress has a keyhole opening in the back with self-covered button closure above and below the opening. An attached waist tie at the waist ensures the perfect fit. The shoulders and waist are smocked. Super sexy semi-sheer material, dreamy on the skin. Some faint discolored areas remain but this piece is in great condition.
