1940's White Silk + Lace Gown
The most romantic candlelit silk charmeuse gown with lace appliqué. This square neckline gown features an extremely full gathered skirt which gives it gorgeous drape and movement. Cap sleeves trimmed with lace complement the lace appliqué bodice adorned with a keyhole opening at the diaphragm. There is an attached waist tie for the perfect fit. One small discolored area on the back is unnoticeable when worn, otherwise in excellent condition. Tag reads "W. E. Walsch & Sons Company, Albany." W. E. Walsch & Sons was a high-end, luxury custom dress-maker located in Albany, NY on the corner of Eagle and State Street in the 1940's and 50's. Photos of the business and one of their ads included.
