1910's Velvet Robe De Style Dress

Incredible early 20th century dress, a real piece of history. A robe de style evening dress with a black cotton velvet bodice with a drop waist, transitioning to a skirt of superfine lace, tulle, and lamé. The gold lamé lace tops black lace and fine silk tulle mesh, lined in a cream-colored silk. The bodice and waist are decorated in handmade velvet 3-dimensional florals. A matching lace modesty panel sits in the base of the V-neckline, but could easily be removed. A plunging back is held together with two velvet straps, and it closes up the side with snaps. 

Condition: good antique condition, moderate holes in velvet
