1970's Black Indian Silk Chiffon Sequin Embellished Designer 3 Piece Gown Set

$695.00

The most beautiful 1970's ensemble crafted of hand-woven, embroidered Indian silk, embellished with an emerald cabochon jewel motif in glass beads and sequins that reminds us of peacock feathers. This piece is incredibly versatile and sexy; could be worn with or without the belt and bolero of course. The halter neckline highlights the face and draws the eye down to the fully decorated skirt. the geometric pattern surrounding the cabochons is made of small black iridescent sequins, creating a subtle shift as it moves through the light. An invisible zipper up the back closes the dress, paired with a hook-and-eye to secure the outer layer over the zipper. The bolero features one hook-and-eye closure.

Label reads Saz by Surjit & Adarsh Gill. Surjit and Adarsh Gill, the sister duo from India, launched Saz in New York in 1969.
