1930's Satin Spiderweb Lace Gown

$848.00

The most incredible 1930's gothic romance oxblood silk satin gown with a train. This museum-quality piece is full of design details. There is a bow shaped swag on the back, and a bib on the front with dramatic hanging ties. Pin-ticking runs from the bodice down the skirt, drawing the eye down the body. There is an optional ruffled modesty panel made of matching silk taffeta. The flared sleeves are crafted from handmade spiderweb lace; yes, there is a spiderweb motif through the lace pictured on our model. Art deco lines throughout the piece. This is truly one of a kind, very old Hollywood, fit for Morticia Addams or Florence Welch. This gown is in great condition but there are some small holes and discolorations scattered through the train. Sizing is flexible due to bias cut of the fabric.
