1920's Ostrich Trimmed Woven Jacket

$498.00

The most incredible 1920's velvet jacket with a pattern created by negative space. Black velvet shows through black embroidery done with a thick embroidery floss, likely a rayon. The collar is trimmed in thick, black ostrich feathers that cascade down the length of the jacket to the hemline. It is lined in ivory satin, and there is one large hook and eye closure to clasp it shut.

Condition: This piece is in excellent condition for its age. There are some loose threads, but no loss of embroidery, no stains or tears. Even the lining is in great shape.

Pit to Shoulder: 9.5"

Total Length: 23"
